Job Summary:
Weekend Suoervisor 1 to 2 shifts per week
We are seeking a skilled Bar Manager to oversee the operations of our vibrant community bar restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
Duties:
- Manage day-to-day bar operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the bar's profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food and drink service.
- Train and mentor bar staff to deliver high-quality service and uphold brand standards.
- Create innovative cocktail menus and oversee the preparation of beverages.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area.
Skills:
- Proficient in food preparation techniques to assist kitchen staff when needed.
- Strong leadership skills to effectively supervise a team of bartenders and wait staff.
- Experience in food production and knowledge of culinary practices.
- Previous work experience in a restaurant, hotel, or similar hospitality setting.
- Excellent supervisory skills to manage staff schedules, performance, and training effectively.
