to support the day-to-day running of our bar, which offers a high-quality selection of drinks and a small food menu. You will play a key role in leading the front-of-house team, ensuring excellent customer service, smooth operations, and a welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring high standards of service
Lead and motivate the bar team during shifts
Support training and development of new and existing staff
Ensure stock levels are maintained and orders placed when needed
Monitor cleanliness and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally
Assist with cash handling, till reconciliation, and end-of-day reports
Ensure food orders are processed efficiently and served to standard
Maintain a good knowledge of the drinks and food menu to advise customers
Open and close the bar as required
Requirements
Previous experience in a bar or hospitality supervisory role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Good knowledge of beers, wines, spirits, and cocktails
Basic understanding of food hygiene and allergen awareness
Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Personal Licence (desirable but not essential)
