We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service. The Bar Manager will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and creating an inviting atmosphere for patrons.

Duties

Supervise and manage bar staff, ensuring efficient operation and adherence to service standards. Oversee food preparation and production, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Train and mentor team members in hospitality practices, serving techniques, and culinary skills. Maintain inventory levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure availability. Develop and implement new drink menus and specials to enhance customer experience. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to health and safety standards. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution to enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours. Monitor financial performance of the bar, assisting in budgeting and cost control measures.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a bar or restaurant environment. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation and production techniques. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality. Previous experience in hotel or barista roles is advantageous. Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
