You will be responsible for managing the bar team, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. This is a keyholder role and requires strong leadership and decision-making skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support bar staff during weekend shifts
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and quality service
Open and/or close the bar following venue procedures
Monitor and manage bar inventory, restocking as needed
Handle customer queries and resolve issues or complaints professionally
Train new or temporary staff as required
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area
Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards
Process payments and oversee till operation and cashing up
Communicate with management about any operational issues or staffing needs
Requirements:
Proven experience in a bar supervisory or senior bartender role
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of drinks, cocktails, and bar operations
Responsible, reliable, and punctual
Personal License (preferred but not essential)
Must be available to work evenings and weekends consistently
