Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and creating a vibrant atmosphere. This role requires excellent leadership skills, as you will be responsible for managing a team and ensuring high standards of food and beverage service.

Duties

Supervise and train bar staff to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to company policies. Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock control. Develop and implement creative drink menus and specials to attract customers. Monitor bar operations to maintain quality standards in food production and service. Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and high performance. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in line with health and safety standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hotel environments is advantageous. A background in serving or barista roles is beneficial for understanding customer needs. Exceptional communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding hospitality experiences. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by business needs.
