HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours per week on 5 days out of 7
SUMMARY OF THE JOB ROLE & PURPOSE:
To provide and maintain a bar dispense service to all residents and guests in an efficient, professional and friendly manner. To ensure that the bar is kept clean and tidy and products are displayed effectively to gain maximum sales.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
To ensure all transactions are posted correctly and all payment methods received are correctly administered in accordance with price list displayed and all accounts are signed by residents or function organisers.
Ensure 4 star standards of service at all times.
Responsible for all cash handling and resolving any discrepancies.
To enforce and observe all licensing and health & safety laws.
To keep clean and maintain hygienic conditions in the bar area, equipment, glassware and utensils.
Observe the correct uniform standards and maintain the correct standard of personal hygiene.
To be responsible for the security of stock in the bar area and cellars. Ensure that at the end of each service that all are locked securely.
Report any faults immediately to the duty manager.
To perform any reasonable request from the duty manager.
