As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for managing the bar staff, ensuring high standards of food safety and production, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Duties

Lead and manage the bar team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages, ensuring quality and consistency. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation that complements bar offerings. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the bar area, adhering to food safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels, helping to place orders as necessary to ensure stock availability. Train new staff members on bar procedures, customer service standards, and food safety practices. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for guest satisfaction.

Skills

Proven experience in team management within a restaurant or pub environment. Strong leadership abilities with a focus on motivating and developing staff. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food production processes. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in a kitchen setting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer interaction. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
