Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pub/club hospitality, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer experiences. As Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring compliance with bar and safety regulations, and maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities

Supervise, manage and motivate bar staff, ensuring efficient operation and exceptional service. Oversee till operations and end of day bar takings Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with health and safety regulations. Train and mentor team members in customer service, up selling and promotions Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste. Handle customer inquiries professionally to enhance guest satisfaction. Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies. Work with the Events Co0ordinator, officers and Committee to ensure that Events and private bookings are handled with professionalism and excellent customer service.

Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a bar environment. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Solid understanding of bar safety practices and regulations. Background in hospitality/Bar Work with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
