Key Responsibilities:
Staff Leadership:
Supervise, motivate, and lead bar staff (bartenders, servers) during shifts.
Assist in training new staff on procedures, drinks, and service standards.
Create staff work rota, manage shift changes, and assure timesheets.
Maintain a positive work environment.
Operational Excellence:
Open and close the bar, including setting stock.
Oversee till operations and cash handling.
Manage stock deliveries, stock rotation, and inventory levels.
Ensure the bar and stockroom are kept clean, organized, and meet hygiene standards.
Customer Service & Sales:
Deliver outstanding customer service, addressing queries and resolving complaints effectively.
Promote events, special offers, and the bar's offerings.
Monitor sales targets and contribute to initiatives to drive revenue.
Health, Safety & Compliance:
Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and licensing laws.
Identify and escalate potential risks or hazards.
Lead by example in all health and safety procedures.
Communication & Reporting:
Attend management meetings, providing necessary information.
Report on sales, stock, and operational issues to management.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in a supervisory role within hospitality.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of stock control, till systems, and health & safety.
