Bartender and Supervisor

Supervisor Key Responsibilities:

Key Holder administering/working "opens" - setting the bar and tables up for service ensuring we have available stock/menus/consumables. And "closes" closing down the bar with cleaning being at the forefront of this. The effective and efficient running of the Bar operation. Ensuring the smooth running of the bar/kitchen service Managing Bartenders and Bar Utility personell to ensure tables are reset between customer visits Ensure the cleanliness of the bar is at its best at all times Managing customer expectations with bookings and service
Bartender Job Purpose:

Take orders from guests at the bar. Prepare and serve beverages. Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times. Reporting to the Bar Supervisors and General Manager
Bartender Job Duties:

Mixing beverages using an extensive range of ingredients. Taking orders from guests serving drinks as requested, paying extreme attention to detail. Processing payments from guests. Satisfying guest requests in a timely manner and to the best of your ability. Assessing guest preferences and making drink recommendations. Providing a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with guests. Checking identification to verify legal age requirements for all guests you consider to be underage (under 21). Limiting guest problems by monitoring alcohol intake and attempting to curtail inappropriate behaviour. Keeping a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of wet and dry stock, notifying management if any is running low. Preparing fruit garnishes for drinks. Preparing in-house ingredients such as Shrubs, Sherbets and Tinctures. Organising the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory. Cleaning the bar, tables, chairs, and work area to maintain a sanitary environment. Complying with all food and beverage regulations. Any other duties as required.
Person Specification:

Must be 18+ and able to show minimum of 6 months bar experience. Must be able to work daytimes, evenings and weekends. Must have a good working knowledge of drinks and/or mixology. Must have an excellent customer service manner. Must maintain a high standard of dress and personal hygiene. Must be able to demonstrate impeccable time management. Must have strong communication skills for use with guests and other members of staff. Must be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
