Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Supervisor to oversee our bar operations and ensure a high standard of service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the hospitality industry. As the Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. This role requires a blend of culinary knowledge, team management, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage bar staff, ensuring they provide excellent customer service. Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages and food items in accordance with our quality standards. Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and health standards. Train and develop team members in food preparation, service techniques, and safety protocols. Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative drink menus that complement our food offerings. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure guest satisfaction. Implement promotional activities to enhance bar sales and attract new customers.

Requirements

Proven experience in a bar management or supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation, culinary techniques, and food safety practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with staff and customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for the hospitality industry and commitment to providing outstanding service. Previous experience in food production or culinary roles is advantageous.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.80 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
