Hide Bar is Bedford's newest cocktail spot, a place where great drinks, great music and great people come together!

We are looking for an experienced Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations, who can lead from the front, keep things running smoothly and bring a mix of professionalism and personality to our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills

The Role

Manage daily bar operations, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness, making sure everything flows. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and adhoc hours when needed. Leading, collaborating and motivating a team that are as passionate about hospitality as you are. Supervise and train bar staff, fostering a positive team environment. Develop and implement innovative drink menus and specials to enhance guest experience. Manage stock, maintaining levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders, ensuring we never run out of the good stuff. Ensure adherence to health and safety standards within the bar area. Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly. Keeping an eye on sales, and finding ways to bring more people through the door.

Skills

Proven experience in running (or helping to run) a bar. Someone who knows their way around cocktails, spirits and the latest trends in the world of bars. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management. Previous restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable. Ability to create a welcoming atmosphere through exceptional customer service. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Pay: 15.00-19.00 per hour
