We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, food preparation, and bar operations, creating an inviting atmosphere for both patrons and employees.
Duties
Supervise and manage bar staff, ensuring efficient service and adherence to company policies.
Oversee food preparation and production, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Train and mentor team members in hospitality practices, food safety, and customer service.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to create innovative drink pairings that complement menu offerings.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the bar area.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner to enhance guest satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring it is well-stocked and presentable at all times.
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a bar or restaurant setting.
Strong culinary knowledge with experience in food preparation and cooking.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous.
Barista experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in beverage preparation.
Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
