We are seeking an experienced and passionate Bar Supervisor to oversee our bar operations during shifts and ensure a high standard of service. As Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the bar team, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations while fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
Supervise and manage bar staff, ensuring efficient service and adherence to company standards.
Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages, ensuring quality and consistency.
Maintain inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
Train and mentor staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and customer service excellence.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to create innovative drink pairings that enhance the dining experience.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Implement promotional activities to boost bar sales and enhance customer engagement.
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a bar or restaurant setting Is essential!!
Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation and production.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Background in hospitality with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Experience in kitchen operations is advantageous; barista experience is also a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
