4 day week (Across Monday-Sunday)



20-30 hours a week



Hourly Rate - 12.50



Equal share of Gratuities (500-800 a month)



1925 at The Pompadour is an award-winning fine dining restaurant located in the heart of Edinburgh. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team.

As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests have an outstanding dining experience. You will oversee daily operations, lead and inspire our team, and uphold our high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:



Supervise and coordinate the activities of the food and beverage team to ensure efficient operations. Train, mentor, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service. Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety. Assist in the development and implementation of service standards, policies, and procedures. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and tact. Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service. Assist in scheduling and staff management to ensure adequate coverage. Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and implementing improvement plans as needed. Support in planning and executing special events and private functions. Ensure compliance with licensing, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.

Requirements:



Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in fine dining. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering top-notch service. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of health and safety regulations. A genuine passion for food, wine, and exceptional service.
