Bar & Restaurant Supervisor

Ferns Bistro is looking for a motivated, creative and committed Bar & Restaurant Supervisor to join the team!

As a Bar/Restaurant Supervisor you will work with management to lead, motivate and inspire the team to deliver an excellent customer experience. This role requires a passion for creativity while ensuring the highest standards are maintained.

Responsibilities

Opening/closing the premises

Lead and manage the team

Handle customer queries and complaints in a professional manner

Stock control, ordering and weekly stock audits

Monitor operations to ensure efficiency and quality control throughout service

Maintain high standards of food/drink quality, presentation and cleanliness

Have input in creating the drinks menu and bringing fresh ideas

Keeping all social media pages up to date and creating content

Requirements

Personal Licence is essential

Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry

Experience in stock taking and cost/waste control

Experience in opening/closing a bar & restaurant, including cashing up, working with checklists

Excellent leadership and team management skills

Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays when required

Barista knowledge and practical experience

Experience in designing cocktail menus and wine knowledge is an advantage

Experience in social media content is an advantage but not essential

Pay: From 12.75 per hour

Education:

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:

Supervising experience: 1 year (preferred) Restaurant management: 1 year (preferred) Bar management: 1 year (preferred) Hospitality: 1 year (preferred) Customer service: 1 year (preferred) Management: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (preferred) Personal Licence (required)
