We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barback to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders by ensuring that the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organised. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the hospitality industry and eager to learn the art of bartending while contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities

Assist bartenders in preparing and serving beverages to guests efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Restock supplies such as spirits, mixers, garnishes, and ice as needed throughout service. Help with the setup and breakdown of the bar before and after shifts. Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure smooth operations. Assist in food preparation when required, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by being attentive to guests' needs and requests. Support the team during busy periods by helping with any additional tasks as necessary.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Basic knowledge of bartending techniques or a desire to learn about drinks and cocktails is advantageous. Experience in restaurant or kitchen environments will be beneficial. A proactive approach to helping others and ensuring guest satisfaction is essential.
