Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barback to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting our bartenders and ensuring that our bar runs smoothly. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry, particularly those interested in bartending.

Duties

Assist bartenders in preparing drinks and serving customers efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Restock supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and other essential items as needed. Help with food preparation when required, ensuring that all items are ready for service. Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Support the team in maintaining high standards of customer service and hospitality.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. A keen interest in bartending and willingness to learn about drink preparation and service. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in kitchen operations or food preparation is an advantage.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 7 - 18 per week

Work Location: In person
