We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, ensuring their experience is enjoyable and memorable.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items are prepared in accordance with food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean environment to ensure the health and safety of customers and staff. Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or as a Barista is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing inventory. Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage. Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards customers. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour
