We are seeking

experienced baristas

with a passion for

speciality coffee

to join our team at Bruschetta this Christmas. This is a

temporary role

for the holiday season, with the opportunity to move into a

permanent position

after 3 months.

Overview:

At Bruschetta, located in the heart of Leeds Corn Exchange, we pride ourselves on serving high-quality speciality coffee. We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic baristas who are passionate about coffee and hospitality, and who can help us maintain and improve our coffee offering.

This role is ideal for individuals with

speciality coffee experience

who thrive in a fast-paced, open-plan coffee shop and are confident working both front-of-house and assisting with back-of-house duties.

Responsibilities:

Perform barista duties

: Dial in grinders, brew and serve coffee with precision and care, and maintain consistent shot quality.

Customer service

: Provide excellent, friendly service, ensuring a welcoming experience for all customers.

Collaborate

: Work closely with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations.

Assist with various tasks

: Including cashiering, stock counting, order taking, and food preparation.

Customer education

: Share your knowledge of speciality coffee with customers to enhance their experience.

Maintain cleanliness

: Contribute to keeping the cafe clean and organised at all times.

Requirements:

Speciality Coffee Experience

: Minimum of

1 year

in a fast-paced speciality coffee environment.

Technical skills

: Able to dial in grinders, maintain consistent shot times, and produce quality coffee.

Latte art skills

: Experience creating latte art is essential.

Customer focus

: A lively personality, comfortable interacting with customers.

Flexibility

: Must be available to work weekends, due to high footfall during this period.

Desired Skills:

Experience with

E65S and EK43

grinders. Knowledge of

cocktail-making

or

kitchen

experience is a bonus.

Food hygiene

knowledge is beneficial.

Pay: 12.25 per hour
