About Us:

The Glass Lounge is a brand-new modern coffee shop, artisan cafe, and cocktail bar. We're passionate about fresh, high-quality food and drinks served in a stylish, welcoming space -- from light breakfasts and brunches to seasonal grain bowls during the day, and sharing plates and cocktails in the evening.

We're officially opening on Tuesday 2nd September. Leading up to launch, we'll be hosting a range of chef nights, soft launches, and prep days throughout July and August -- giving you a chance to get involved early and shape the customer experience from the start.

Opening Hours:

Monday-Wednesday: 8:00am-5:00pm Thursday: 8:00am-10:00pm Friday-Saturday: 8:00am-11:00pm Sunday: 8:00am-1:00pm
Working Hours:

Monday-Wednesday: 7:30am-5:30pm Thursday: 7:30am-5:00pm Friday-Saturday: 7:30am-5:00pm Sunday: 7:30am-1:15pm
Additional hours available for private events if desired.

Shifts will include both full and half days depending on availability. Typical shifts may include:

7:30am-12:00pm 12:00pm-5:30pm Evening shifts available for cocktail/tapas service (Thursday-Saturday)

The Role:

We're looking for a friendly, confident, and hard-working Front of House / Barista to join our opening team. You'll be the face of The Glass Lounge -- welcoming guests, making high-quality coffee and drinks, and helping create a warm and memorable atmosphere.

As a new business, there's lots of room to get involved:

Full barista training provided Opportunity to help with light kitchen prep when needed Support with social media content and soft launch events

We're looking for someone who:

? Enjoys making customers feel welcome and at home

? Has some barista experience (or is keen to learn -- full training provided)

? Works cleanly, efficiently, and takes pride in presentation

? Can assist with basic kitchen tasks when needed

? Is confident using a till and handling orders

? Brings good energy to the space and works well in a small team

? Has a proactive, can-do attitude -- especially helpful in an opening venue

? (Bonus!) Has an interest in social media, content creation, or photography
