We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated member of staff to join our Front of House team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This position involves various responsibilities, including: barista duties, basic table service, cleaning, and till service.
Duties
Greet and welcome customers with a friendly attitude
Assist in drink preparation and food service ensuring all items meet health and safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service counters.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, using basic maths skills to handle transactions.
Provide assistance to customers as needed, answering queries about menu items and specials.
Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
Taking bookings and orders over the phone
Qualifications
Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of food safety practices is required; training will be provided if necessary.
Basic maths skills are essential for handling cash transactions accurately.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team dynamic.
