We're looking for a passionate and people-focused Barista Manager to lead our mobile coffee cart -- the first of several launching across the city.
This is not your average barista gig.

, a coffee initiative in Shepherd's Bush. Dedicated to empowering people with disabilities through employment opportunities. Our mission is to foster an inclusive environment where supported team members can develop skills and build confidence. You'll run daily operations, uphold exceptional coffee standards, and play a key role in training and empowering 1-2 staff members with learning disabilities.
What You'll Do
Lead day-to-day cart operations, from opening to closing
Deliver exceptional coffee using high-end equipment (Fracino + Eureka Atom)
Train support staff in all aspects of barista craft -- from espresso dialing to customer service
Create a safe and encouraging environment for team members with learning disabilities
Help shape procedures, workflows, and future cart rollouts
Liaise with suppliers, manage stock, and ensure compliance with health standards
Contribute ideas to branding, events, and community outreach
Who You Are
A seasoned barista with strong manual brewing, espresso dialing, and latte art skills
Patient, empathetic, and passionate about inclusive hiring and developing people with disabilities
Confident in leading a team and communicating clearly
Methodical and organized -- with a sharp eye for service flow and detail
Interested in social enterprise and growing something meaningful
We're looking for team members who are trained in food hygiene or happy to be supervised and supported as they learn.
Flexible and adaptable -- this is a startup, so every day will be different!
Bonus Skills (Not Required)
Familiarity with mobile operations or small business environments
Basic knowledge of power systems or coffee cart layouts
