Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in ensuring that our customers enjoy their experience, from the moment they walk in until they leave with their favourite drinks.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, adhering to food safety standards. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all items are fresh and presented well. Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and effectively. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours. Maintain inventory levels by restocking supplies as necessary and reporting any shortages to management. Uphold the highest standards of customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.

Experience

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; we are willing to train the right candidate. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Experience in serving customers in a busy environment is beneficial. Basic math skills are required for handling transactions accurately. Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Contract length: 9 months

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
