Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring an enjoyable experience for every guest. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food safety, coffee preparation, and customer service within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, in accordance with company standards. Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including cleaning equipment and surfaces regularly. Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and health standards at all times. Serve customers efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service. Manage cash register operations accurately, including handling payments and giving correct change. Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations. Assist in opening or closing procedures as required.

Skills

Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in beverage preparation. Previous

Barista experience

is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Ability to serve customers politely and professionally in a fast-paced environment. Basic food preparation skills, including handling ingredients safely. Good

time management

skills to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Basic

maths

skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Strong organisational skills to keep the workspace tidy and efficient. This role offers an engaging environment where you can develop your skills in hospitality while providing excellent service to our valued customers.
Pay: 12.21-17.33 per hour
