Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barista

with experience in specialty coffee

to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious coffee beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace. If you have a passion for coffee, a positive attitude, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to have you on our team.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee drinks according to company recipes and standards. Bake pre-prepared morning goods before opening and throughout the day. Maintain a clean and inviting environment by cleaning tables and clearing empties as customers leave. Restock the cake display throughout the day to ensure a visually appealing presentation. Greet customers warmly and professionally, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Accurately and efficiently take customer orders. Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment effectively to produce high-quality beverages. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar area. Uphold high standards of customer service at all times, addressing customer needs promptly and courteously. Operate the POS system for order processing and payments. Assist in stocking inventory and replenishing supplies as needed. Open and close the shop depending on the shift, following established procedures.

Experience:

Previous experience as a Barista in a specialty coffee shop is a must.

Strong time management skills to handle peak hours effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations is a plus.

Contract Details:

Please note that this is a zero-hour contract, and we cannot guarantee a minimum number of hours. On average, you would receive 20 to 35 hours per week, with potential for more hours as our business grows.
