Job Summary

We are seeking passionate and dedicated fully trained Barista's to join our vibrant team in our new, purpose built coffee shop within one of our clients buildings.

The ideal candidates will have a love for coffee and customer service, ensuring that every beverage is crafted to perfection while providing an exceptional experience for our customers. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining the high standards of our establishment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions and operate the till efficiently, to include daily and weekly cash ups. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.

Experience

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is essential, although company standard training will also be provided. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage. Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours. A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team dynamic.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.60-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
