Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards. Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items are fresh, appealing, and meet food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Uphold food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Barista is essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. A genuine passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing techniques and beverage recipes. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous but can be taught on the job.
