About the Role

ADREF Cafe & Bar is looking for an enthusiastic, skilled Barista to join our energetic team. As one of the first faces our guests see, you'll play a key role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while crafting exceptional coffee, tea, and specialty beverages. What You'll Do

Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages to a high standard. Deliver friendly, attentive service while taking orders and answering menu questions. Showcase your barista skills, including latte art and coffee presentation. Upsell specials and menu items to enhance the guest experience. Keep the bar, kitchen, and service areas clean, tidy, and well-stocked. Support food preparation and presentation when required. Operate equipment safely and follow health & safety guidelines at all times. Work efficiently under pressure, ensuring timely service without compromising quality. Collaborate with your teammates to create a positive, supportive workplace.

What We're Looking For

Fully barista-trained with coffee art experience. Previous experience in cafes, hospitality, or restaurants is preferred. Strong understanding of food safety and basic kitchen operations. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy environment. Basic numeracy for handling transactions accurately. Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
