Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a desire to provide exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the cafe, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages, as well as other menu items. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Operate coffee machines and equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with food preparation while adhering to food safety standards. Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; restock as necessary. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.

Skills

Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and adherence to food safety regulations. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues. A friendly disposition with a genuine desire to help others enjoy their experience at our cafe.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
