Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional experience for our customers by preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment while ensuring adherence to food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks. Assist with bar preparation and serving, ensuring all items meet quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently. Handle cash transactions and maintain basic maths skills for accurate till management. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.

Experience

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with food safety practices is highly desirable. Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is beneficial. Basic maths skills are necessary for handling cash transactions accurately. Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service delivery during peak hours. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
