Ensure that the cafe is set up correctly for service and is always on brand
Greet customers with a smile as they enter
Give customers drink menus and answer their questions regarding ingredients
Take orders, paying attention to details, (eg preferences of milk, ratios, additions)
Prepare beverages according to specs
Serve beverages and prepared food from the counter and kitchen
Receive and process payments
Keep the counter and serve area clean
Maintain stock of clean glasses, cups, plates and cutlery
Check all equipment is working properly reporting any maintenance needs
Comply with all company, EHO, H&S regulations, guidance and procedures
Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new items where appropriate
Set up and clear down the venue as directed
Ensure maximisation of sales through promotion, and up selling
To treat Cocoa Cabana as if it were your own, minimising losses and maximising sales
Food Safety
Ensure that Food Safety standards are maintained
Ensure all set up and close down checks are performed and documented.
Ensure that the workstations are kept clean and hygienic.
Ensure that high standards of personal hygiene are maintained.
Customer Service
Provide a friendly and efficient service to customers
Ensure that food and drinks are of the highest standard
Ensure that food served is attractively presented and on brand
Financial
Take cash and card payments as required and directed through company procedures and as directed by management
Ensuring that any cash expenditure for provisions for the cafe are covered by receipts
Training
To take part in training as directed by management
Identify training needs and inform management as required
Maintenance and Security
Ensure the kitchen, cafe, equipment and furnishings are properly maintained and cleaned
Ensure the cafe and outside areas are clean, safe and hygienic at all times.
Terms of working
The position is for 20 hours per week which is spread over 3 days, saturdays and sundays and a day in the week, additional shifts are available if wanted
we have part time and full time hours available
The rate per hour will be 10.50 per hour
