Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a desire to provide exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. You will play a key role in creating memorable experiences through your knowledge of coffee and food preparation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards. Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items meet food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including equipment and utensils. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any queries or concerns. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.

Skills

Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly disposition with strong communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
