Marbury Cafe is an independent cafe with a strong focus on quality coffee, relaxed service. Creating a warm welcoming place for our customers. We are looking for an experienced barista to step into a Front of House Supervisor role and help lead our team day to day.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident on the coffee machine, comfortable leading a small team, and happy to take responsibility for front of house service during busy periods. You will help set the tone on shift, support and guide staff, and ensure every customer leaves having had a great experience.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our team provides high-quality food and service while maintaining a positive work environment.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the service staff to ensure efficient operations. Train, and develop team members. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and front of house Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain cleanliness of FOH

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential. Previous experience in team management, demonstrating effective leadership skills. Familiarity with barista duties or hotel operations is advantageous but not required. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team. A background in serving or hospitality will be beneficial for understanding customer needs.
