Duties
Manage all aspects of bar operations, including staff supervision, inventory control, and customer service.
Oversee food preparation and ensure that all culinary standards are met, including cooking and food production processes.
Supervise and train team members in serving, bartending, and hospitality best practices.
Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and ensure cleanliness and organisation within the bar area.
Develop and implement staff schedules, optimise workflow, and manage labour costs effectively.
Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage supplier relationships to ensure availability of quality ingredients and beverages.
Create innovative drink menus in collaboration with the culinary team to enhance customer experience.
Handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
Lead by example in delivering excellent hospitality service while fostering a positive team environment.
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or bar environment, with strong team management capabilities.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
Experience in food service roles such as serving or barista work is advantageous.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop staff members.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Familiarity with culinary processes, including food production and kitchen experience.
Background in hospitality or hotel management is desirable.
Good understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
