About the Role
As our Bar & Restaurant Supervisor, you'll play a key part in delivering consistently high standards across both the bar and restaurant. You'll lead by example, support your team, and help shape the welcoming, high-quality experience we're proud of--and continue to elevate as we grow.
What You'll Do
Lead and support bar and restaurant staff, including bartenders, servers, and barbacks
Foster a positive, team-focused environment
Uphold high service standards and ensure smooth daily operations
Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations
Manage stock, ordering, and inventory--including our popular
local real ales
Work closely with the kitchen team as we develop our menu and service in line with
Rosette-level standards
Train and mentor new team members
Handle guest queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Monitor financial performance and help support sales and profitability
Bring fresh ideas to enhance the guest experience
What We're Looking For
Previous supervisory or management experience in a bar or restaurant (pub or hotel experience a bonus!)
Strong bartending skills with an appreciation for quality beer and real ale
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational abilities
Solid understanding of food safety and service standards
A friendly, hands-on approach with a passion for great hospitality
The ability to stay calm, confident, and professional under pressure
A genuine interest in supporting our journey toward
earning Rosettes
