Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing coffee and other drinks but also ensuring that our customers have a pleasant experience from the moment they enter our establishment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, as required. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and answer any queries they may have. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Support team members by helping with tasks as needed to maintain smooth operations.

Requirements

Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders. Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure the health and wellbeing of our customers. Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided. A friendly disposition with a willingness to help customers and colleagues alike.
