Overview

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards. Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately, ensuring prompt service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces. Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system efficiently. Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts. Engage with guests to create a friendly atmosphere, promoting repeat business. Follow all food safety and hygiene standards diligently throughout service.

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Good organisational skills to manage multiple orders simultaneously. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Effective time management to ensure timely service during busy periods. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and friendliness. Personal presentation that reflects the welcoming atmosphere of the establishment.
