Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations within a vibrant hotel environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional service. You will be responsible for managing the bar staff, ensuring high standards of bartending and food preparation, and maintaining an inviting atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead the bar team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to health and safety regulations. Assist in the preparation of food items as required, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and controlling stock to minimise waste. Train and mentor staff in bartending techniques, customer service skills, and food production processes. Create innovative drink menus that align with current trends while catering to guest preferences. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service during busy periods.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a bar management role or similar supervisory position within the hospitality industry. Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is advantageous. Excellent bartending skills with a comprehensive understanding of beverages and mixology. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly disposition towards guests and staff alike. Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
