We are looking for Bartenders, paying

12.60 per hour

to join the Freight Manchester team! You will need to be available for work Thursday - Sunday.

Located in the heart of the Depot, Mayfield amongst the historical industrial architecture lies a cultural hub of food, drink & entertainment - multi-vendor, multifaceted & multidimensional, where people meet to form new memories & explore new possibilities. A 2500 capacity venue with 9 bars and 12 food vendors, it provides a safe and comfortable environment where guests can enjoy delicious food, great drinks, and live entertainment without any worries.

You MUST have weekend availability to be considered.

Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Taking and making correct drinks orders, upselling wherever possible. Providing a friendly, vibrant & professional customer service experience. Delivering drinks to a high spec and look. Maintaining a high speed of service, keeping queueing to a minimum. Setting up and maintaining bar stations to an excellent standard, working tidily. Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the bar offerings and memorising all specs. Recording any wastage / broken stock correctly. Working with the whole team to deliver the day to day running of the bar. Creating a fun, upbeat and welcoming atmosphere. Ensuring a high quality of service. Following H&S and any security specifics. Enforcing Challenge 25 and Licensing Acts. Ensuring daily and weekly cleaning schedules are complete. Supporting the floor staff with clearing when the bars are quiet Delivering drinks table serves

What you'll need:

A minimum of 2 years' bartending experience Experience in a similar unique venue or nightclubs would be an advantage. Cocktail experience is desirable but not essential! A can-do attitude and calm head when it gets busy. An infectious smile and outgoing personality to create a great buzz and customer experience. Willingness to work outside (under cover) Phenomenal communication skills. Able to deliver high standards consistently. Fluent English (spoken and comprehension).
