Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and taking orders in a friendly and efficient manner. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and assist in food preparation when necessary. Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management. Uphold high standards of hospitality, creating a welcoming environment for all guests.

Requirements

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant industry is preferred. Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately. A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding customer service. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
