Stitch & Weave is seeking an experienced Bartender for this bar and restaurant in Ebrington Square. Stitch & Weave is the closest F&B outlet just before the Peace Bridge.

This is an all-day food and beverage operation from Wednesday to Sunday.

The style of food would be classified as Bistro/Brasserie style cuisine with a high quality beverage and cocktail offering. The events market will also form part of the business.

The Bartender will have strong hands on bar experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Effective bar service with an emphasis on high quality, efficient service Knowledge of cocktails and mixology a bonus Set-up of the various outlets in accordance with the pre-determined standards of the operation To carry out cleaning duties of bar area in line with opening / closing bar procedures Ensure wastage with bar products is minimized and recorded as per company stock control procedure Adhere to "first in first out" stock rotation system Compliance with licensing regulations and hotel procedures relating to the restaurant and service of alcoholic beverages Demonstrate a perfect knowledge of all beverage served and how various drinks are prepared and presented Follow cash handling procedures as outlined in the company's policy Present a cohesive image and adhere to the correct standards of appearance Ensure the highest standards of service are given at all times Participate in any training and personnel exercises designed to improve standards and performance Wear clean suitable uniform at all times and ensure a high level of personal hygiene & grooming Maximise revenue and increase average spend per person through upselling and high customer service standards Other duties as requested by management

Prerequisites for this position include

Previous bar experience required Self-motivated and have the ability to prioritise work Excellent interpersonal skills Be fluent in both written and spoken English Ability to work on your own initiative Have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Strives for perfection while executing excellence
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
