What exactly you will be doing...


Create and serve exquisite, beautifully balanced cocktails with precision and care. Deliver seamless, five-star service with warmth, confidence, and attention to detail. Share your knowledge of premium spirits, ingredients, and global drinks trends. Collaborate on innovative menu creations and seasonal cocktail launches. Build genuine connections with guests, making every visit memorable. Keep the bar stocked, clean, and organized throughout your shift Handle transactions (cash and card) accurately and responsibly Maintain a strong knowledge of our drink menu, wines, and seasonal specials Work collaboratively with the floor and culinary teams Set up and close down the bar efficiently and to the highest standard Participate in events and special functions as needed Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols, including responsible alcohol service Bring positive energy to every shift

What qualities are we looking for?

Previous experience in a luxury hotel bar or high-end cocktail venue. A strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails and strong drinks knowledge. Team player mindset- able to support the wider to team to deliver world-class service standards. Exceptional presentation, communication, and hospitality skills. Passion for excellence, creativity, and continuous learning. A calm, professional presence in a fast-paced, refined environment.

Must-haves:

Current, legal and unrestricted ability to work in the United Kingdom Ability to work on-site at Virgin Hotels Edinburgh for every shift. Flexibility to work different shifts, including on the weekends and holidays.
