Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards. Greet guests warmly and take their orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and promptness. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces. Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times. Manage cash transactions accurately using the POS system. Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service. Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts. Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless customer experience during busy periods.

Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality environment, particularly within a restaurant or bar setting, is preferred but not essential as training will be provided. Knowledge of food safety standards relevant to the hospitality industry. Strong serving skills with an emphasis on excellent customer service. Basic maths skills for handling payments and giving correct change. Good time management abilities to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Familiarity with hospitality software or POS systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
