Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain an organised and clean bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and taking drink orders efficiently. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for billing purposes. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible serving of alcohol and compliance with licensing laws. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, demonstrating strong hospitality skills. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately. Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. A friendly demeanour with the ability to work well under pressure as part of a team.
