We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of food safety and beverage preparation. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service.
Manage time effectively to handle multiple orders during peak hours while maintaining quality service.
Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring an enjoyable experience.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks.
Keep inventory of bar supplies and assist in ordering when necessary.
Qualifications
Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices.
Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs.
A friendly, approachable demeanour with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
A genuine desire to help customers and enhance their dining experience.
