Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a keen interest in providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring that all patrons have a memorable experience in our establishment. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain a clean and organised bar area will be essential to your success in this role.

Must be available to work weekends & bank holidays.

Guaranteed Christmas Day & Boxing Day off.

Approx. 16 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including food offerings, to provide recommendations to guests. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed and keeping track of stock. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Clean and organise the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils, to maintain a tidy environment. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper change is given and maintaining accurate tabs for customers.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred. Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively. Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods efficiently. Knowledge of food safety standards is an advantage. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. A passion for mixology and willingness to learn new techniques is highly desirable.
