Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in accordance with standard recipes and presentation guidelines. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness of the bar area. Engage with guests, providing recommendations and taking orders efficiently. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs. Maintain inventory levels by restocking supplies as needed and assisting with stock takes. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any customer concerns promptly. Uphold the establishment's standards of hospitality, ensuring every guest feels valued and welcomed.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance in beverage preparation. Experience in serving drinks in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent time management abilities. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively. Previous restaurant experience is advantageous, providing familiarity with bar operations and customer service dynamics. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to manage tasks independently.
