Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in accordance with company standards. Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver drinks promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Check identification to verify legal drinking age and prevent underage sales. Manage cash register operations, handle payments accurately, and provide correct change. Restock bar supplies as needed and monitor inventory levels to ensure smooth service. Engage with guests to create a lively and welcoming atmosphere, promoting repeat business. Follow all health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for both staff and patrons.

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or as a bartender within a restaurant or bar setting. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service. Excellent serving skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods. Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively under pressure. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Exceptional communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour. Knowledge of various drink recipes and cocktail preparation is desirable but not essential. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the establishment's operating hours.
