Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, experience in food and beverage service, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Prior experience in a fast paced bar is highly valued, along with strong skills in responsible alcohol service.

Expected Days of Work

Friday Evenings Saturday Evenings
A minimum of Friday nights and Saturday nights is required. Due to the nature of the job and the times worked it is expected that the successful applicant will be able to get themselves home after midnight.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems. Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and offering recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area according to food safety standards. Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for transactions. Ensure responsible alcohol service by verifying guest identification and monitoring consumption levels. Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management. Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure timely service.

Skills

Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Experience in food industry roles including restaurant experience, retail math, or food handling is preferred. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and sales transactions. Previous experience in fine dining, nightclubs, banquet settings, or hospitality environments is advantageous. Familiarity with brewing processes or beverage preparation techniques is a plus.
